The project
As part of EcoFest, we collected soft toys and unwanted clothes to creatively transform old toys into new friends through art and imagination.
Each toy was given a new identity, a name, and a second life. To celebrate the adoption, every participant signed an adoption certificate to officially welcome their new friend home.
After the Botany event, Pakuranga and Cuenti Peques also wanted to host the workshop, so off we went!
They also prepared a beautiful story that accompanied the session.
The Pakuranga community was incredibly generous with donations of soft toys and materials, which means there will be many more workshops to come.
